What is included in your Website Basic Package?
- Up to 5 designed web pages with web design and content as defined at the beginning of the project
- Website 'back office' administration for you to edit or add content
- Search engine optimization & submitted to the major search engines Google, Yahoo and MSN
- Support by phone or email up to for 6 months after completion at no additional charge
What else do I need to get my website online?
- A domain name*, which is the name of your website, e.g. www.youronlinecompany.com; and
- Website Hosting service* storing the files that make up your site on their publicly accessible server. YOC can set you up with hosting servicing and tutorials on using the administrative panel to administer you hosting services.
- If you don't have your domain name and/or hosting, YOC can purchase a domain name and hosting services on your behalf through a domain and hosting partner of your choice.
- Domain name (typically about $10 per year) and hosting (typically about $100 per year) are NOT included in our Website Package price, unlesss otherwise noted and payable by the client directly to your domain and hosting company monthly or annually; unless purchased through YOC, to which these fees are paid annually in advance (by credit card or PayPal), individually, or as part of a package.
What is a 'Domain Name' and what is 'Hosting'?
A domain name is the name of your website, e.g. www.youronlinecompany.com. A hosting company provides the necessary tools to publish your website on the Internet and stores the files that make up your site on their publicly accessible server.
I would like a to sell products and would need a shopping cart. Can YOC set-up a shopping cart?

Can you refresh or tune up my existing site?

How long does it take to get my website up and running?
Once we have received your signed contract and initial deposit, we will provide you with an estimated completion date, which is for regular websites usually about 4 to 8 weeks after the start date.
How can I be sure I will like my website?
Due to the high standard of our work we have the confidence to guarantee all our web designer work 100%. If you are not completely satisfied with the appearance and functionality of your web design, YOC will continue to work on your site at no additional charge until you are, or you can cancel your contract with us. We take pride in all our satisfied customers and look forward to giving you the same level of service excellence.
Can I provide my own text and photos?
The outline of your website will be defined at the beginning of the project. You can submit any text, design, logos, graphics, photos, printed brochures and/or any other artwork or items to be included in the design or content of your website before we start your project. You can either mail or email them to us or we can meet in person if you are located in Eastern Massachusetts area. Any data we collect from our clients will be held securely by us for the sole purposes of carrying out business with you and on request returned after finishing the project. Your data will not be passed to any third parties. The client unconditionally guarantees that any elements of text, graphics, photos, designs, trademarks, or other artwork furnished to YOC for inclusion in web pages are owned by the client, or that the client has permission from the rightful owner to use each of these elements. He will hold harmless, protect and defend YOC from any claim or suit arising from the use of such elements.
Do I have to come up with text and photos?
If you prefer not to deliver any text, artwork or other items, you agree that YOC will build your website drafting our own text and using royalty-free stock images from our collection.
How is your working process?
We will provide you with a basic layout and content draft for your website, usually within 10 business days. After you have reviewed the web design draft, we will continue to make modifications until the basic layout and content is approved by you. Once it is approved, we will create the detailed page layout, add programming, pictures, photos, and text. During this process, you will have the opportunity to review the progress. We will establish a private directory for your new website on our testing server so that you may view the website development progress at any time. Our project manager will inform you via email when extensive updates to the site have been made so you can review the most recent progress. We will continue to make modifications until the final layout and content is approved by you. After getting your final approval and payment we will transfer your website to the hosting company's web server. From this point on your website is 'live' on the internet.
Will I own the copyright to my website?
Once YOC has received final payment for your project you will own the copyright to the files we created for your website.
How can I change something once the website is online?
Your website will have 'back office' administration where you can easily login and do minor adjustments to your website by yourself. YOC will provide you with basic phone and email support, as well as tuturials to help you make your updates (basic test and image edits), or alternatively you can hire us under an annual or ad hoc service contract to update your site as needed. Any work on your website by YOC after it is completed and online will require an additional contract and incur a fee.YOC cannot accept responsibility for any alterations/ errors caused by the client or third parties known or unknown to the client occurring to the clients files once placed on the internet.
Can you ensure that my website will show up in Google, Yahoo and other search engines?
YOC will build and optimize your website in a suitable way so search engines will index it. After launching, we will submit it to the major search engines Yahoo, Google, and MSN. While building a search engine friendly site is a critical requirement, other factors must be implemented to achieve top search engine rankings. Link popularity and dozens of other factors outside of our control also play an important role. At no time can we guarantee when or where the search engines will place your website within their search results or directory, or whether you are ranked at all.
